Machine Listener is a research project that culminated in an audio essay series exploring listening in the digital age, featuring musicians, researchers, scientists, and artists.
Between 2021 and 2022, I conducted interviews and collaborated with developer Stijn van Beek to create a digital listening app.
In May 2023, I presented the project and my findings at the symposium Acts of Fragmentation at De Brakke Grond, part of FIBER Festival, Amsterdam.
