The idea behind Karantän Tapes came up during the beginning of March 2020 when it started feeling like the walls of Anna Högberg and Finn Loxbo's apartment in Stockholm were slowly closing in, as covid 19 rapidly got hold of Sweden and big parts of the world.
Karantän Tapes:
Musician 1, records a 3-minute improvised solo and sends it to another musician of her/his choice anywhere in the world. Musician 2 turns the recording into a duo by adding an overdub. The new duo is then sent to a third musician who completes the recording by turning it into a trio.

The order of the overdubs are the same as the order of the names in each title. And the country abbreviations refers to the country in which each layer of the recording was made.
